Malala: Suspects held in Swat, Nowshera

SWAT/NOWSHERA: Some key-accused involved in the Malala Yousafzai attack have been arrested on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

Law enforcing agencies said that on the information obtained from the persons held in Swat, an operation was launched and police officials at Bara Khara of Akbarpur in Nowshera arrested three brothers involved in the attack on Malala.

All the three accused Irfan, Abdul Haji and Inam belong to Tehreek-e-Taliban and are residents of Mingora, Swat. The accused have been shifted to an unknown place for interrogations. Weapons and other documents recovered from the accused have also been taken into custody.

Earlier, four persons including a chowkidar and an accountant of Malala’s school were taken into custody in Swat.
